Kaiden J. Yu (俞仲威) is a Taiwanese-American photojournalist and visual artist based in Washington, D.C. with an international background. Growing up in a military household, Kaiden's photographic work is anchored by ideas of movement, belonging, and searching.
He is currently studying photojournalism and international affairs at the George Washington University. Kaiden shoots for the GW Hatchet and is a member of the Asian American Journalists Association and National Press Photographers Association. His work has been published in TIME Magazine, USA Today, the Washington Informer, and more.
When he isn't behind the camera, Kaiden can be found playing piano, climbing rocks, watching movies, or debating with his family when his next haircut will be.
